Hello, I'm Engr. Jaydee N. Lucero. I am a licensed Civil Engineer and an educator based in the Philippines.
Career
I currently work as a Senior Structural Engineer I at Abinales Associates Engineers + Consultants. Previously, I worked at Phinma Properties. My career spans over seven years in the structural design and review of vertical structures. My experience includes residential buildings, socialized housing, commercial and parking structures, as well as small-scale earth- and fluid-retaining structures. I specialize in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Education & Teaching
Beyond structural design, I have a strong background in education. For more than four years, I have taught mathematics and civil engineering subjects across colleges, review centers, and online platforms. I previously served as a college teacher of civil engineering at Holy Cross College in Pampanga. Currently, I serve as a Review Lecturer at Review Innovations and a Math Tech Teacher for CASIO Calculator Philippines. I am also the author of a book on calculator techniques, aimed at helping students and professionals optimize their problem-solving processes.
Engineering & Technology
I am highly interested in the intersection of engineering and technology. To help modernize engineering workflows, I actively teach and share knowledge on programming. I was a speaker at PythonAsia 2026, where I presented "Python and Structures: Python in the Structural Engineering Industry," covering the use of APIs to control commercial structural engineering software and open-source Python libraries for finite element analysis. I also co-led a Python Workshop Series for Structural Engineers organized by the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP).
